Gluten intolerance, also known as non-celiac gluten sensitivity (NCGS), is a condition where the body reacts to gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, and rye. Symptoms can vary and include:

  • Digestive issues such as bloating, abdominal pain, and diarrhoea
  • Fatigue
  • Brain fog
  • Headaches
  • Skin rash or dermatitis
  • Joint pain
  • Depression or anxiety
  • Anaemia

It is important to note that gluten intolerance differs from celiac disease, an autoimmune disorder that causes damage to the small intestine when gluten is consumed.
