In a bowl, add yoghurt and coconut milk. Whisk them together until they have a smooth consistency. Keep it aside.
Heat oil in a kadhai, add mustard seeds. Once they start to pop, add onions and curry leaves. Saute onions till they turn golden brown in colour. Now, add turmeric powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder. Stir to mix everything well. Cook for a minute.
Now, add chopped okra to the masala. Stir to mix everything. Cook it for at least 10 minutes. Keep stirring occasionally and make sure the masala doesn't stick to the bottom of the kadhai.
Once the okras are cooked, add yogurt-coconut milk mixture to the kadhai on low flame. Stir immediately so that yogurt doesn't curdle. Cook it for 5 minutes.
Garnish it with freshly chopped coriander. Your Bhindi Masala is ready. Serve it alongside hot chapatis. Enjoy the meal.
