About fibre, vitamin C and persimmons.
What good are Persimmons?

Persimmons are high in fibre, particularly if they are dried. Consuming fibre will help to lower levels of bad cholesterol in the body. Soluble fibre, which is found in persimmons, can bind with cholesterol in the digestive system and remove it from the body.

Persimmons may also help to boost immunity because of the presence of vitamin C. Persimmons are considered to have one of the highest ascorbic acid (vitamin C) content among fruits and a single persimmon can approximately meet 80 percent of your body’s daily requirement.

Persimmons are great for your eyes because they are rich in a compound named zeaxanthin which is found in B-complex vitamins.
