Caffeine is considered to be a powerful stimulant that has an impact on the central nervous system. Drinking moderate amounts of caffeine is associated with feeling more awake, aware, and motivated. How strongly a person experiences such effects after consuming caffeine is referred to as caffeine sensitivity.
One can find that a single cup of coffee in the morning is too much, but another might require three or four cups to feel the benefits of caffeine.
Caffeine sensitivity cannot be measured, but scientists have broadly classified it into three groups based on how the body metabolizes caffeine.
