Olive Oil is considered to be the most nutritious cooking fat. It is made by pressing olives - a crop that is derived from the olive tree, which initially originated in the Mediterranean countries.
Olive oil can be indirectly incorporated into your diet as it is usually added to salad dressings, bread dips, pasta sauces, and paninis & sandwiches.
Though Olive oil is so nutritious, experts do not recommend using it in making Indian dishes as these usually require a high temperature to cook which is not suitable for olive oil. The oil usually breaks down at high temperatures and becomes unsafe for consumption.
