How To Cook?

Preheat the oven to 180ÔøΩc/160ÔøΩc fan/gas 4. lightly grease a non-stick baking tray or line a regular baking tray with baking parchment.

In a small non-stick pan, combine the butter and maple syrup. melt them together over medium heat. add the dessert apple and cook, stirring, until it softens for about 6-7 minutes. stir in the cinnamon and raisins.

In a bowl, mix the porridge oats, flour, and hazelnuts. pour in the apple mixture and add the egg. mix everything together thoroughly.

Spoon the cookie dough onto the baking tray, spacing them well apart to form 9 mounds. gently press them down to form discs.

Bake the cookies for 18-20 minutes until they turn golden. once baked, transfer them to a wire rack to cool. the cookies can be stored in an airtight container for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 6 weeks.
