How To Cook?

To prepare brinjal gothsu, start by heating the sesame oil in a pressure cooker.

Add mustard seeds and let them splutter.

Now add asafoetida, curry leaves, small onions, and ginger. cook until the onions become soft.

Once the onions are soft, add brinjal, tomatoes, tamarind water, turmeric powder, sambar powder, salt, jaggery, and water. mix well.

Close the pressure cooker and cook until 3 to 4 whistles.
