How To Cook?

To make the green chilli ginger mixture, blend the green chillies, ginger, and water in a mixer grinder to form a smooth puree. set aside.

In a large mixing bowl, combine besan flour, water, salt, cooking soda, fruit salt, sugar, turmeric powder, sunflower oil, and the green chilli ginger puree. whisk well to form a smooth batter.

Grease a 7-inch cake tin or a dhokla pan and pour the batter into it. place the pan in a steamer with boiling water.

Cover the steamer and steam the dhokla for about 10 minutes until it is cooked. insert a knife into the center to check if it comes out clean.

Once cooked, remove the dhokla from the steamer and allow it to cool completely before cutting it into squares or diamonds.
