How To Cook?

Using a mortar and pestle, crush the grated ginger, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, and black pepper into a rough paste. set aside.

In a saucepan, pour 4 cups of water and add the prepared ginger turmeric spice mix.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder and 1 teaspoon of jaggery or honey to the saucepan.

Mix well and bring the mixture to a boil. let it simmer for about 5 minutes to allow the flavors to infuse.

Strain the tea to remove the spices and transfer it to a serving cup.
