Drain the soaked rice, dal, and fenugreek seeds. grind them to a smooth batter using a mixer or grinder. the batter should have a thick consistency.

Transfer the batter to a large bowl and add salt. mix well and let it ferment for about 4-5 hours or until it doubles in volume.

Once the batter is fermented, gently mix it again to incorporate any settled ingredients.

Heat a nonstick flat-bottomed pan or tawa over medium heat. add a few drops of olive oil and spread it evenly with a tissue paper to coat the surface.
