How To Cook?

To prepare the fenugreek (methi) fritters, sift together chickpea flour (besan) and rice flour in a mixing bowl. add salt to the flours.

Pour a ladle of hot oil (pre-heated for 1 minute) into the flour mixture and gently mix it with a spoon.

Now add fresh fenugreek leaves, red chilli powder, asafoetida (hing), turmeric powder, carom seeds (ajwain), and crushed coriander seeds. mix all the ingredients well.

The fenugreek leaves will release some water after 2-3 minutes.

Slowly add water to the mixture, mixing continuously, until you achieve a thick batter consistency.
