How To Cook?

Soak black gram and red kidney beans overnight in enough water. drain well.

Rinse the lentils a couple of times in water.

Add the lentils to a pressure cooker along with water and stir well.

Pressure cook for 18 to 20 whistles until the lentils are thoroughly cooked and softened. if they are not cooked, add about cup water and pressure cook for 4 to 5 more whistles.

The lentils should be soft and melt in the mouth. keep the cooked beans aside.
