Prepare pecan caramel: in a bowl, cream together unsalted butter and brown sugar using an electric whisk until the mixture turns pale. add ground nutmeg and a pinch of salt, then gently fold in the cooled date mixture.

Incorporate dry ingredients: sift in the all-purpose flour and gently mix until everything is evenly combined.

Preheat and grease: preheat the oven to 180 degrees celsius (350 degrees fahrenheit). grease ramekins or desirable molds with butter.
