In a bowl, rinse the poha (flattened rice) under running water and drain it. set it aside.

In a separate bowl, mix rice flour with a little water to make a smooth paste. set it aside.

In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat milk on medium heat until it comes to a gentle boil.

Add the drained poha to the boiling milk and cook it on low heat, stirring occasionally, until the poha becomes soft and the milk thickens.

In the meantime, heat a small pan and melt the nolen gur (date palm jaggery) on low heat until it turns into a syrup-like consistency. keep it warm.
