How To Cook?

1

Begin by cooking the tender sweet maize (corn) kernels. you can either boil them or steam them until they become tender. drain any excess water and set the cooked maize aside.

2

In a separate saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it starts to simmer. then, add the cooked maize to the milk and let it cook together for a few minutes to infuse the flavors.

3

Add the sugar to the mixture and continue to stir gently until the sugar dissolves completely. allow the mixture to simmer for a few more minutes until it thickens slightly.

4

In a small pan, heat the ghee over low heat and add a pinch of saffron to it. let the saffron infuse the ghee for a minute or two, creating a beautiful aroma and color.

5

Pour the saffron-infused ghee over the sweet maize pudding and mix it well. this step adds a wonderful fragrance and enhances the taste of the dish.
