How To Cook?

Rinse the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes.

In a pressure cooker, combine the soaked rice and milk. cook under pressure for one whistle. quickly release the steam and transfer the cooked rice to a deep pan. simmer for 20 minutes.

Add saffron strands to the rice mixture and mix well. meanwhile, melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave.

Stir in the melted chocolate, cocoa powder, and malted chocolate drink mix into the almost cooked rice pudding.

As the kheer thickens, add sugar and continue cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
