To begin making thandai infused rice kheer, wash the basmati rice and soak it in water for 30 minutes. then, drain the water and keep the rice aside.

In separate bowls, soak the saffron strands in lukewarm milk and the thandai masala in some milk as well.

Prepare the thandai powder by grinding almonds, cashew nuts, pistachio nuts, poppy seeds, green cardamom pods, organic cinnamon, and black peppercorns into a coarse powder. keep the thandai powder aside.

In a large saucepan, boil the milk over medium heat.

Once the milk comes to a boil, reduce the flame and add the soaked basmati rice to the saucepan.
