How To Cook?

To prepare the black cherry thandai burfi, heat a pan with clarified butter (ghee) and add the grated bottle gourd (lauki).

Cook the bottle gourd for about 6-7 minutes or until it becomes soft.

Add the required amount of sugar and continue cooking until the mixture becomes dry.

Once it is done, add the khoya (mawa), thandai masala, chopped cashew nuts, chopped almonds, and cardamom powder. you can also add a pinch of green food color if desired, though it's optional.

Mix all the ingredients well to ensure they are evenly incorporated. you can omit the green food color if you prefer a natural look.
