How To Cook?

Start by soaking the chickpeas overnight for 8-9 hours.

The next day, boil the soaked chickpeas in enough water in a pressure cooker along with cloves, cinnamon sticks, cardamom pods, bay leaves, black salt, and black tea bags for 10-15 minutes. if the chickpeas are not fully cooked, pressure cook them for a few more minutes.

Drain the chickpeas and remove the spices and tea bags.

Heat oil in a pan and saute the crushed ginger-garlic or ginger-garlic paste until the raw aroma disappears.

Add red chilli powder, coriander powder, chole masala, and garam masala to the pan. saute the masala for a minute on low flame, being careful not to burn it.
