To prepare the no bake mawa poha barfi, soak the flattened rice in water for 5 minutes, then drain the excess water and grind it coarsely using a mixer grinder. set it aside.

Dissolve the saffron strand in 1/4 cup of warm milk and keep it aside.

In a heavy-bottomed pan, heat 2 tablespoons of ghee on medium heat. add the khoya (mawa) and saut„© it in the ghee until it releases a good aroma.

Once you notice the aroma, add the sugar and mix well.

Now, add the ground poha, cardamom powder, and saffron-infused milk. stir the mixture continuously.
