To prepare parsi spiced fried chicken (marghi na farcha), start by grinding cloves and cinnamon into a fine powder using a mortar and pestle.

In a blender, combine chopped onions, green chilies, ginger, garlic cloves, cumin seeds, and fresh coriander leaves. blend into a smooth paste, adding very little water as needed.

Wash the chicken pieces thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.

In a mixing bowl, add red chili powder, turmeric powder, the prepared masala paste, powdered cloves, cinnamon, and salt. mix everything well to coat the chicken pieces evenly with the spice mixture.

Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for 4 to 6 hours.
