How To Cook?

Soak the urad dal in water for a few hours. drain the water and transfer the soaked dal to a grinding jar. add a little water and grind it into a smooth paste.

In a large bowl, combine whole wheat flour, salt, sugar, and nigella seeds. mix well to combine all the dry ingredients.

Add 3 tablespoons of oil or ghee to the dry mixture and mix it thoroughly to incorporate the fat into the flour.

Incorporate the urad dal paste into the flour mixture and mix until well combined.

Gradually add lukewarm water to the mixture and knead it into a smooth dough.
