How To Cook?

To prepare the spicy onion cumin chutney, start by slicing the onions into medium pieces.

Heat a teaspoon of oil in a pan and add cumin seeds and dry red chilies. saute them for a few seconds.

Now, add urad dal and saute until it turns golden yellow. transfer this mixture to a small dish and let it cool.

In the same pan, add another teaspoon of oil and saute the chopped onion pieces for 4 to 5 minutes, until the raw onion aroma disappears. turn off the heat and let it cool.

Grind the cooled urad dal, cumin seeds, and red chilies into a coarse powder using a grinder.
