In a mixing bowl or pan, combine chopped dill leaves, grated carrots, finely chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves, finely chopped ginger, finely chopped green chilies, grated fresh coconut, cumin seeds, rice flour, and salt. mix well. dill leaves are optional, and you can also add finely chopped curry leaves if desired.

Cover the mixture and let it rest for 15 to 20 minutes.

Gradually add water to the mixture, around 2/3 cup, or as needed to form a soft dough. the amount of water required may vary depending on the quality of rice flour and the moisture content of the vegetables.

Rinse a plantain leaf thoroughly and wipe it dry. spread a little oil on the leaf.

Take a handful of the rice dough and shape it into a ball. place it on the plantain leaf.
