How To Cook?

Wash the black rice thoroughly and soak it in water for about 30 minutes.

While the rice is soaking, finely chop the onion, garlic, ginger, and red chilli. cut the tofu into small cubes.

In a pot, heat a little oil over medium heat. add the chopped onion, garlic, ginger, and red chilli. saute until the onions turn translucent.

Add the soaked black rice to the pot and stir for a minute. pour in about 4 cups of water and add the lemon grass stalk. bring the mixture to a boil.

Once it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer until the black rice is cooked and tender.
