To prepare the nutritious vegetable moong dal khichdi for babies and toddlers, add yellow moong dal and rice to a pressure cooker along with 1 cup of water.

Pressure cook the dal and rice for 3 whistles. then, reduce the heat to low and let it cook for 2 more minutes.

Turn off the heat and allow the pressure to release naturally.

In another pressure cooker, add the chopped carrots and green beans. add 2 tablespoons of water and pressure cook for 2 whistles.

Turn off the heat and release the pressure by running the cooker under cold water. this will help retain the color and nutrition of the vegetables.
