How To Cook?

1

To prepare the spicy cornmeal dhokla, crush the garlic, green chillies, and fresh coriander leaves using a mortar and pestle.

2

In a mixing bowl, combine the degermed yellow corn meal (makki ka atta), baking soda, the crushed mixture of garlic, green chillies, and coriander leaves, and the required amount of salt.

3

Knead the mixture well, adding water gradually to form a smooth dough.

4

Shape the dough into small dhoklas, similar to south indian vadas.

5

Steam the dhoklas in an idli steamer for approximately half an hour or until they are cooked through.
