How To Cook?

To prepare chow chow and bok choy sambar, first, rinse the arhar dal (pigeon peas) and cook it in a pressure cooker with 2 cups of water, turmeric powder, and salt until soft and mushy.

Mash the cooked dal and set it aside.

Heat cooking oil in a pan and saute the sliced onions until they become soft.

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until they turn mushy.

Add the chow chow and bok choy to the pan. cook until they are 3/4th cooked, stirring occasionally.
