How To Cook?

In a mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of all-purpose flour (maida), 2 tablespoons of oil, and a pinch of salt. mix well to form a crumbly texture.

Gradually add water and knead the dough until it becomes smooth and firm. cover the dough with a damp cloth and set it aside for 30 minutes.

Rinse 1 cup of yellow moong dal and soak it in water for 30 minutes. drain the water and grind the soaked dal into a coarse paste without adding any water.

Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. add grated ginger, chopped green chilies, fennel seeds, and cumin seeds. saute them for a minute until fragrant.

Add the ground moong dal paste to the pan and mix well. cook the dal mixture on medium heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring continuously.
