In a large mixing bowl, combine chickpea flour (besan), rice flour, sliced onions, fresh coriander leaves, green chilies, grated ginger, turmeric powder, red chili powder, carom seeds (ajwain), asafoetida (hing), and salt. leave out the oil and chaat masala.

Gradually add a small amount of water to create a thick batter. ensure that the batter is well-mixed and has a coating consistency.

To cook the fritters, you can use a kuzhi paniyaram pan or an air fryer or a skillet with a small amount of oil.
