Wash and drain the red lentils, quinoa, and chickpeas. set them aside.

In a pan, heat oil over medium heat. add red onions and green chili, and cook for 5 minutes. saute in vegetable broth to eliminate the need for oil.

Add garam masala, cinnamon powder, cardamom powder, and cumin powder. mix well and cook for a minute.

Meanwhile, blend the tomato, spinach, garlic, ginger, and black peppercorns with 1/2 cup of water into a smooth puree.

Add the puree to the pan and mix well. add the lentils, quinoa, and chickpeas, and stir to combine.
