How To Cook?

In a large non-stick pan, dry-fry the cumin seeds over medium heat for about 1 minute, stirring frequently, until they release their aroma. remove the seeds from the pan and set them aside. cook the brown basmati rice according to the package instructions.

In the same pan, heat the rapeseed oil over medium heat. add the chopped onion, minced garlic, grated ginger, and sliced red chilli. saute the ingredients for approximately 3 minutes until the onion becomes translucent.

Reduce the heat and add the garam masala, coriander, and paprika to the pan. stir well to combine the spices with the onion mixture and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Add the chopped tomatoes to the pan and use the back of a spoon to break them into smaller chunks. stir the mixture together.

Drain and rinse the chickpeas, then add them to the pan along with 200ml of water. bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat to simmer for 10 minutes.
