Boil the chickpeas until they are soft and cooked. drain and set them aside.

In a pan, dry roast the cumin seeds and coriander seeds until they become aromatic. allow them to cool and then grind them into a fine powder.

Heat vegetable oil in a pan. add finely chopped garlic and saut„© for a minute until it becomes fragrant.
