How To Cook?

Wash the bitter gourd thoroughly and cut it into thin slices. remove the seeds if desired.

Sprinkle turmeric powder and a little salt over the bitter gourd slices. mix well and let it sit for about 15 minutes. this step helps to reduce the bitterness.

Heat sunflower oil in a pan. add mustard seeds, urad dal, and asafoetida. let them splutter.

Add curry leaves to the pan and saute for a few seconds until they release their aroma.

Now, add the marinated bitter gourd slices to the pan. stir-fry them on medium heat until they become tender and slightly crisp.
