Transfer the soaked chickpeas to a pressure cooker with 2-1/2 cups of water. cook them until you hear 6 to 7 whistles, then reduce the heat to low and continue cooking for an additional 15 minutes until they are tender and fully cooked.

In a saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. add grated ginger, finely chopped onion, and minced garlic. saut„© these ingredients for a few seconds until they become fragrant.

Incorporate the tomato puree, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chili powder, and salt. also, add the cooked chickpeas to the mixture.
