To start preparing the spiced cabbage and lentil fritters, begin by soaking the chana dal and urad dal together for a few hours. after soaking, drain them well.

In a food processor, combine the soaked and drained dals along with a touch of salt. grind them to a thick and smooth batter, using as little water as possible.

Transfer the dal batter to a mixing bowl. finely chop the cabbage, green chilies, red onion, and carrot. also, mince the garlic cloves and chop the coriander leaves.

Mix the chopped vegetables, instant oatmeal, minced garlic, curry leaves, and cumin seeds into the dal batter. ensure that the mixture is well combined and the vegetables are evenly distributed.

Adjust the salt and spices according to your preference, keeping in mind that the flavor will intensify during frying.
